It’s great to be opportunistic in life and seize the moment. That said, all opportunities are not worth seizing and taking advantage of. As someone who aspires to be your highest self, attain your highest goals, act consistently with your highest values, and live your very best and enriching life, you must in each instance that calls for you to make a life choice, astutely discern which opportunities will elevate you and your life and which could or will drag you and the quality and trajectory of your life down.

As I discuss in my new book, “ASPIRE HIGHER: How to Find the Love, Positivity, and Purpose to Elevate Your Life and the World!”, you want to make life choices that reflect your highest self, goals, and values. By doing this you raise your feelings of self-esteem and self-worth, your self-image, and your confidence that you can truly effect positive and highly beneficial change in your life. All of these empowering feelings in turn will lead you to make more and more positive life choices because you like enjoying the sweet fruits of your positive choices, and because you begin or continue to feel that you deserve great and enhancing things in your life, so a very salutary and wonderful process of continually making positive life choices is started and then consistently reinforced throughout your life.

All this to say, we all are presented daily with opportunities that we can seize; the question is: Will making the choice to pursue or partake in that opportunity elevate our life, the lives of those we love, and others, or can or will it bring us and/or others, and our feelings of self-esteem down, or worse, be self-sabotaging or highly destructive to us or to others?

The choice to enjoy a life that is soaring up or to suffer through one that is spiraling down is ALWAYS YOURS! STARTING TODAY, with each choice that you make, YOU have the POWER to jump-start your life in the most positive and wonderful ways! I strongly suggest that for each and every golden decision-making opportunity that comes your way, you with great enthusiasm choose to ASPIRE HIGHER!

Thank you so much for reading the above essay, and may all of your life choices be positive and life-elevating ones!

Warmest,
Ken
